FARMINGTON – Several members of the Farmington Emblem Club 460 met at the Mallet School on May 23 to judge cheerleader tryouts for the second, third, fourth and fifth grades.

Again on May 26, the members met at the Cushing School in Wilton to judge cheerleaders from the same grades.

The Farmington Emblem Club has sponsored youth cheering in the area for several years.

This year and last, Lesa Thompkins has been the chairwoman.
