farmington – The Maine Draft Horse and Ox Association will have its annual pulling competitions today through Sunday at the Farmington Fairgrounds pulling ring.

Action begins at 4 p.m. today with the youth steer pulls and continues Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10 a.m.

Horses and oxen will pull in several different classes, including distance pulls, elimination and two pound rock. There also will be a 3-horse hitch pull on Saturday.
