The Natural Resources Council of Maine will present a number of screenings of “An Inconvenient Truth,” the highly acclaimed film about global warming, which chronicles Al Gore as he travels the country to raise awareness about that issue.
The movie also explains why global warming is a threat now more than ever, and how you can help turn the tide.
It will be shown at 7 and 9 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at the Colonial Theatre in Belfast. There will be a prescreening reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. For more information, call 338-1930.
