Desiree Violette of Rumford has completed her third year at Green Mountain College in Vermont. Her academic achievement of 4.0 the first semester and a 3.95 the second semester has placed her on the president’s list for the year. Violette is majoring in environmental studies with a concentration in natural sciences. She is the daughter of Joanne and Tom Gaudet of Rumford and David Violette of Turner.
