BANGOR (AP) – A Bangor man with a lengthy criminal record was arrested early Monday for allegedly killing an acquaintance, police said.
Peter Tuller, 33, was charged with felony murder after a body was found late Sunday after a gathering at a Pier Street apartment, police said.
Tuller and the victim knew each other, police said. The victim’s name was being withheld by police until family members were notified.
Tuller has a lengthy criminal record, including arrests for at least four assaults as well as criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, WABI-TV reported.
Officers were called to the apartment at about 11 p.m. Neither Tuller nor the victim lived in the apartment where the slaying took place, police said.
