Dear Sun Spots: Is the time right for you and readers to lend a hand to ease the suffering of countless unfortunate animals living right here in our own neighborhoods? Has this ever been your secret goal? If so, here is your chance to help feed and care for the homeless strays and feral cats. It has been the goal of Tommy’s Feral Feline Friends for over 15 years, 365 days a year.

If you can help, please call (207) 782-9776 or write to Tommy’s Feral Feline Friends, P.O. Box 274, Greene, ME 04236.

To those who’ve so graciously donated their homemade crafts for our future fundraising events, a big thank you for all you’ve done. We are still in need of items though.

We are a nonprofit organization, licensed by the state. There is no grand agency funding our programs; only those like you and I. Won’t you please help? – Ellen B., Greene.

Dear Sun Spots: I am a big fan of Eric Roberts and I was wondering why he is not cast in “Less Than Perfect”? Is it because he refused or what? I really miss him on that show. – Lorraine Perron, Lisbon.

Answer: According to ABC’s Web site on “Less Than Perfect,” www.abc.go.com, Roberts (brother of actress Julia Roberts) is still cast in this show. However, www.tvseriesfinale.com notes while new episodes of the show can be seen starting on May 30, the show is not on the station’s fall lineup.

In the meantime, if you wish to request an autographed picture from Eric or simply send fan mail, you can do so by writing to Eric Roberts at 12025½ Ventura Blvd., Studio City, CA. 91604.
