HARRISON – Excessive speed was deemed the cause of a rollover Tuesday night on Plains Road where a Bridgton man and his four juvenile passengers were injured, Cumberland County sheriff’s Deputy Steve Welch said.

Aaron Rice, 19, was driving his Volkswagen sedan from Bolsters Mills Road to Route 117 when the car flipped about 6 p.m., he said. The names of the passengers were not released due to their ages, Welch said, adding they were all from the Bridgton-Harrison area.

All five had minor injuries, he said. The car was destroyed.
