LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Heidi Hayes-Audet and Steven L. Mehalcik Jr. of Lewiston.
The future bride is the daughter of Helen L. Hayes of North Fort Meyers, Fla., and Brant Lake, N.Y., and the late Charles R. Hayes of Brant Lake, N.Y. She is a 1988 graduate of North Warren Central School in Chestertown, N.Y., and a 1996 graduate of the University of Southern Maine. She is currently working on a master’s degree in holistic nutrition through Clayton College, and is a self-employed yoga instructor in the central and southern Maine areas.
The future bridegroom is the son of Lucille and Steven Mehalcik Sr. of Auburn. He is a 1978 graduate of Edward Little High School and has been employed at Shaw’s Supermarket since 1976.
A June wedding is planned.
