Accident

• A 1989 Chevrolet pickup truck, driver unknown, rolled over twice before landing on Route 2 near Rowe’s Delite about 12:30 a.m. July 1. Officer Jeff Stoddard said damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000. According to the police report, the truck was registered to John Wesley of Dixfield. When a police officer arrived on the scene, the driver apparently left the vehicle and fled on foot.

Theft

• Four firearms, including a 9 mm handgun, were reported stolen from a home on Kimball Avenue on June 26. The owner said the firearms were taken sometime during the past three weeks. In addition to the handgun, a 16-gauge shotgun, a .22 rifle and a .410 shotgun were reported taken. Officer Jeff Stoddard said the department has a suspect.
