LEWISTON – Travis Dyke’s two-out single in the bottom of the seventh inning plated Robbie Leeman with the winning run to lift Gayton Post to a 4-3 American Legion baseball win over Gilman Electrical Friday night at Franklin Field.

Gayton (4-7) entered the seventh trailing 3-1. Will Emerson brought a run in on an infield groundout. With two outs, Leeman singled over the second baseman’s head to tie the score at 3-3. One batter later, Dyke greeted reliever Alex Smith with a shot to left center.

Luke Potter (2-1) went the distance for Gayton, while Kyle Mullins suffered the loss for Gilman Electrical. Smith and Brent Cary both had a first-inning RBI for Gilman Electrical.
