ALBANY – A man was thrown from his two-wheel dirt bike Wednesday afternoon after hitting a small rock and injured his shoulder, a warden’s spokesman said.

Greg Burt of Livermore, was taken to Bridgton Hospital to be treated for the injury, Matt Latti of Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife said Wednesday afternoon.

Burt was riding his Suzuki along a service road under power lines near Hunt’s Corner after 1 p.m. when he fell off his bike, Latti said.

It was unclear if he was with someone else or how he contacted help.
