BRIDGTON – The Lake Region Community Theatre will present “Blithe Spirit” at 7:30 p.m. July 27-29 and at 2 p.m. July 29 at Bridgton Academy.
“Blithe Spirit” was written by Noel Coward in six short days during the London Blitz, just weeks after German bombs destroyed his office and attached apartment. Coward said he wanted to write a “very gay, superficial” comedy.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. They will be available at the door or ahead of time at Krainin’s Real Estate in Naples, Hayes True Value, Route 302 in Bridgton, Bridgton Chamber of Commerce in Bridgton, Books-N-Things on Main Street in Norway, and the Casco Public Library on Route 121.
