HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Top-ranked Lisa Kuronya of the Portland Boxing Club defeated No. 3-ranked Christina Swanson of Florida in four rounds Saturday to claim the overall title in the welterweight division of the Women’s National Golden Gloves Championship in Hollywood, Fla.

Kuronya won in via unanimous decision.

Kuronya’s next fight will take place in India in the World Championships in November.
