FRYEBURG – The arrest of four men at a Saco River camping area did not take much more than just turning around and seeing what they were up to, according to Fryeburg police.

The four men, ages 22 and 21, were arrested after a police officer on detail at Fiddlehead Campground allegedly saw them using drugs, according to the office administrator of the Fryeburg Police Department.

Michael Whalen, 22, of Westford, Mass., was arrested Saturday and charged with unlawful furnishing of cocaine, sale and use of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a usable amount of marijuana. His bail was set at $1,500 cash.

Brian Burke, 22, of Westford, Mass., Daniel Rubin, 22, of Westford, Mass., and Christopher O. Guillemette, 21, of Hudson, N.H., were each charged with unlawful possession of cocaine. Bail for each was set at $300 cash.
