AUGUSTA (AP) – The body of a 27-year-old Augusta man who was missing since last weekend has been found in a brush-covered area near state Route 27.

Nathaniel Shultz’s body was found by a state game warden who had been among those looking for Schultz after he was reported missing. The body was found shortly before noon Thursday. Police said they do not suspect foul play in Shultz’s death. An autopsy will be performed.

Schultz was reported missing on Saturday. His truck got stuck while he was four-wheeling near Industrial Drive in Augusta.

Shultz was with two friends, but they said they left him after he began acting irrational. A search was conducted from the ground and air.
