“All the animals want to lick you!” said Gail Oja Sunday as her daughter, Amber Oja, 13, of North Andover, Mass., peted Nifty Dude, a Haflinger colt born in April at Pleasant Valley Farm in West Paris. Gloria and Maurice Hadley, owners of the farm, have been showing the Austrian horses since 1980 and have eight plus the foal. Along with horses, the couple has bantam hens and pigeons.
