• Steven Patneaude, 47, Main Street, Mexico, domestic abuse, on July 24 on the Roxbury Road near Roxbury Pond. He was transported to the Oxford County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on Aug. 8.

• Between $300 and $400 worth of copper was reported stolen from a scrap heap owned by Ed Fontaine on July 25. The scrap heap and building is at the rear of Maddy’s Pizza on Main Street. Officer Jeff Stoddard said he believed this was the first incident of stolen copper in town.

Arrest

• Jerry Lynn Koerner Jr., 25, Rumford, domestic assault, 6:45 a.m. July 24 on Maine Avenue. He was released on $700 unsecured bail, and is to be arraigned on Aug. 8 in Rumford District Court.

Accident

• July 24, 1:20 p.m. – A 2007 Winnebago driven by Joachim Geipel, 49, of Laubach, Germany, struck a 2006 Chevrolet pickup owned by Donald Winslow, 55, of East Parsonsfield, while circling it in the parking lot at McDonald’s restaurant off Route 2. Damage to the Winnebago was estimated at $2,500; to the truck, $1,000.
