WINTHROP – Announcement is made of the engagement of Mary Gierhan and Erin Quimby, both of Winthrop.
Miss Gierhan is the daughter of the late Marvin Gierhan and Frances Gierhan of Bangor. She is employed at Will Williams Trailer Center in Winthrop.
Mr. Quimby is the son of Timothy and Dale Quimby of Orrington. He is employed at Progressive Distributors in Winthrop.
The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. on Sept. 9 in Winthrop.
