RUMFORD – Black Mountain of Maine will be awash in fitness and fun on Sept. 30. In addition to 1K and 5K trail races, there will be a Nordic dry land clinic, a wellness fair coordinated by the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition and a spaghetti supper, hosted by the Chisholm Ski Club.
Brochures and registration forms for the trail races will be available soon at the chamber. Call 364-3241 for information. Organizations interested in exhibiting at the wellness fair should contact Healthy Communities at 364-7408.
Planning the event is a committee composed of representatives of Black Mountain, the chamber, the Chisholm Ski Club and the Healthy Communities Coalition. To volunteer for planning in advance or working at the event, call the chamber.
