FARMINGTON – Bayla is a Jack Russell Terrier mix. Her owners had to take her to the Franklin County Animal Shelter because they no longer had time for her.
Staff said she is a sweet little lady that just needs a special someone to play with and to cuddle her. Bayla loves to get her belly scratched and will roll around on the floor for attention.
Bayla is 3 years old and still has plenty of spunk. She darts after tennis balls for a good game of fetch. She bounds about, running away during a game of chase. Bayla would be the perfect dog for someone who would love her unconditionally, staff said. She needs to be in a home without cats.
New dogs at the shelter include a male husky mix found in Rangeley
The cat adoption flavor of the month is “Licorice.” All adoption fees have been lowered for adult black cats during August.
The adoption fee for Fern, last week’s pet of the week, is being sponsored by Theresa York. For more information, call 778-2638.
