GREENE – Richard and Michele Penna of Marlborough, N.H., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Brandy Penna of Greene, to Corey McFadden of Greene, son of Blaine and Betsy McFadden of Greene.

Miss Penna is a 2000 graduate of Keene High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Maine at Machias, with a bachelor’s degree in marine biology. She is also a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a master’s degree in biology.

Mr. McFadden is a 1998 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Maine at Machias, with a bachelor’s degree in business. He is employed as assistant director of admissions at the University of Maine at Farmington.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 23 in Lewiston.
