Portland – Agnes Olive Norris, 90, a resident of Gorham Road in Scarborough, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, at Mercy Hospital, where she had been a patient for one week.

She was born on April 5, 1916, at Stricklands Loop in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Cuvier Lyman and Annie (Hood) Norris. She attended the schools of Stricklands, Livermore Falls and Portland.

At 10 years old she was diagnosed with polio, but never let it stop her from living a full-life. She worked for many years at S.D. Warren Paper Co. in Westbrook as a sorter in the finishing department. She was a member of the Eight Corner Baptist Church of Scarborough and a member of the Quarter Century Club of S.D. Warren Paper Co.

She is survived by her longtime companion of 45 years, Llewellyn Randall of Scarborough; a brother, Stanley Norris Sr. of Limington; two nephews, Stanley Norris Jr. of Clermont, Fla. and Paul Norris of Arizona; two nieces, Linda Madison of Portland and Marie Adele Norris of Scarborough; cousins, Ella Wilkins of Livermore Falls, Marion Herrin of Leeds, Carol Norris of Jay, Russell Norris of Jay, Ralph Norris of Livermore Falls and William “Bunky” Norris of Livermore Falls; and second cousins, Ken and Frances Page of Leeds.
