NASHUA, N.H. – Jeanne M. (Marquis) Nicholson, 64, of East Grand Avenue, Old Orchard Beach passed away after a brief illness Monday, Aug. 14, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 29, 1941, in Lewiston, the daughter of the late Norman and Jeannette Marquis, both formerly of Lewiston.

She was a 1959 graduate of Lewiston High School. She was employed by Coastal Awards in Biddeford. She loved her family, her friends and the beach.

She leaves behind her beloved brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Eunice Marquis of Old Orchard Beach; a daughter, Kelly (Nicholson) Williams; a son-in-law, Patrick Williams of Merrimack, N.H.; a son, Thomas J. Nicholson III and a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Nicholson of Brea, California; a son, Timothy Nicholson of Nashua, N.H.; and former daughter-in-law, Suzanne Jones of Derry, N.H.; she also leaves behind and will be terribly missed by her three beautiful and treasured grandchildren, Zachary Nicholson, 9, Hannah Williams, 5, and Matthew Williams, 2; her niece/goddaughter, Jackie Marquis; and nephews, David Marquis and Peter Marquis.
