PARIS – The Corporate and Community Services Department of Central Maine Community College will offer a four-part certificate program in customer service from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays, Sept. 15 to Oct. 6, at the Western Maine University and Community College Center in South Paris. Cost of the program, $205 a person, includes materials.
The Customer Service Excellence Certificate Program (CCS 027-31) is for retailers, sales teams, bank and credit union employees, medical office staff, hospitality workers, customer service representatives and anyone else who deals with customers.
Participants will learn the importance of creating a culture of customer service, how to communicate with customers using tested techniques in a variety of media channels, how the customers’ perspectives and experiences impact what they expect and how to maintain a high level of quality customer service that can set the organization apart from its competition.
