LEWISTON – Alice A. Malloy, 94, of 28 Malloy Road, Turner, died Sunday, Aug. 20, at Ouellette’s Adult Foster Care Home.

She was born in Dorchester, Mass., March 3, 1912, the daughter of Lewis and Helen Stevens. She graduated from Dorchester High School for Girls in 1930, and the Chandler Secretarial School in Boston in 1932. She was married for 60 years to Luke G. Malloy who predeceased her Aug. 18, 1995.

She was employed as office manager at the New England and Eastern Canadian regional office of Parent’s Magazine of Boston for 20 years. She moved to Maine in 1971, from West Roxbury, Mass., and was a member of the Auburn Catholic Community at St. Philip’s Church. Her main interest was her family and she enjoyed family get-togethers, gardening, cooking, and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by a daughter, Alice Malloy Fleming of Turner; six grandsons and their families, Michael and Patricia Fleming, Stephen Fleming and Jeff Perrotti, John and Kandice Fleming, Patrick and Norleen Fleming, Brian and Gretchen Fleming, Clash Malloy and Suzan Hosea; also 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Mary Duplain of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Her family wishes to thank Ron and Donna Ouellette for their loving care of Alice while she was a resident there.
