LEWISTON – Leslie G. Harris, 88, of 128 Sabattus St., died Tuesday, Aug. 22, at d’Youville Pavilion with his family by his side.

He was born in McAdam, New Brunswick on April 2, 1918, the son Frank and Bertha (Scott) Harris. He grew up and attended schools in New Brunswick and moved to Brownville Junction in 1951.

He worked for 37 years for the Canadian Pacific Railroad as a signal maintainer, which he was very proud of.

He was a proud life member of the Pleasant River Masonic Lodge in Brownville.

He leaves behind two sons and a daughter, David and wife, Terry, of Lewiston, Ron and wife, Carla, of Turner and Betty Harris of Brownville Junction; several grandchildren; three sisters, Alice, Elsie and Dorothy; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Ivy and his second wife, Joyce; his parents; his son, Franklin; and his brothers, Carl, Robert, Kenny, Elmer and Fred.
