RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Doris DeFilipp was celebrated Thursday, Aug. 24, at St. Athanasius and St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Alfred Jacques was the celebrant. Mark Belanger was the organist. Special music selections were “Ave Maria,” Wind Beneath My Wings,” “Panis Angelicus,” “You Raise Me Up” and “On Eagles Wings.” Readings were read by Lynn Petrie and John Flaherty. The eulogy was given by Jessica Voter. Pallbearers were Lee Gallant, John Flaherty, Mark Averill, Jason Buotte, Craig DeFilipp, Robert Perry, John Madigan and Tom Buotte. Interment was in St. John Cemetery with committal prayers offered by Deacon Rod Berger. A reception followed at the Sons of Italy. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home.
