This is not the first time I’ve been exasperated by Mark LaFlamme.

From the “Reporters’ Notebook” of Aug. 21, it seems entirely inappropriate to use a column to pitch a private business. In this case, one which can only be harmful to Maine’s image. The Web site address yet!

Maine Vacationland. Hmmmm.

I’d not choose it for a destination after seeing this blurb on the Turner creature. It creates a very poor image for a state that relies on tourism.
