LEWISTON – Health Club/Buddy T’s (4) continued to surprise in the National League playoffs, beating BT Pallet (2) in the first game of a best-of-3 series Monday.

In the American League, Poland Spring (1) knocked off Allaire Construction (2) in game 1 of their championship series.

The second game in both series was scheduled for last night, with the “if” games slated tonight at the Randall Road complex.

AUBURN – Monday’s playoff games were postponed due to wet field conditions at Pettengill. They were rescheduled for last night, Hart Transportation-Major Automotive in the winners’ bracket, and Gritty’s-E.S.M. in the losers’ bracket. Tonight at 7:00, the loser of Hart-Major Automotive will take on the winner of Gritty’s-E.S.M. in the semifinal game at Pettengill. Championship round game is slated for Thursday at 7 p.m.
