PARIS – Eleven high school students had to wait an extra half hour to go home Wednesday after their school bus was rear-ended by a minivan.

The Paris Police Department responded to the accident. No one was injured.

At 2 p.m., Susan Carro of Waterford was leaving the high school driveway when she hit the bus, said Sgt. Michael Dailey of the Paris Police Department. Her Plymouth Voyager had to be towed, but there was no damage to the bus.

She was charged with failure to provide proof of insurance, Dailey said.
