AUBURN – The wedding of Laura Jeannette Allen and Kenneth Paul Dumas Sr. was held at 2 p.m. on July 29 at Midnight Blues Club in Auburn. Rusty Goddard, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Dumas is the daughter of Joyce Teixeira and Joseph Marsden of Auburn. Mr. Dumas is the son of Joseph and Rosemary Dumas of Augusta.

The bride, given in marriage by Joseph Marsden, wore a floor length gown with spaghetti straps, long train, off white and burgundy trim and burgundy sequins. A tiara supported her veil and she carried a bouquet of burgundy and off-white carnations with baby’s breath.

Cindy Bennett was maid of honor for her best friend, and Lisa Greeley was matron of honor for her friend.

John Dumas performed the duties of best man for his brother, and usher was Joey Dumas, nephew.

A reception followed at the Midnight Blues Club. The couple is planning a honeymoon at a later date. They are residing in Waterville.

The bride is employed at Care and Comfort, and the bridegroom is employed at Pine State Trading.
