AUGUSTA – Senior Spectrum’s Lifestyle Expo is coming to the Augusta Civic Center on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 15 and 16. The expo was created to expand on Senior Spectrum’s mission to assist people of all ages to stay healthy, active and engaged with the communities in which they live.

Exhibitors will show the latest advances in healthcare, travel, recreation, fitness, nutrition, retirement and estate planning, caregiver support and mobility aids. There will also be health screenings, workshops, massages, manicures and cooking demonstrations.
MaineGeneral will offer screenings for bone density, cholesterol, blood pressure, sun safety and hearing. Additional screenings by other exhibitors will include osteoporosis, body fat analysis, bone density and blood pressure, glaucoma and vision checks.
On Friday entertainment will be swing time music. On Saturday verbal antique appraisals will be available. There will be a limit of three items a person, and there will be a $2 donation per item, which will benefit Senior Spectrum programs and services.

Grand prize will be a two-night/three-day mini vacation package for two at the A Rise and Shine Bed and Breakfast, the restored Woolworth Estate in Monmouth.
