FARMINGTON – Contestants and judges are needed for the seventh annual Miss Farmington Fair Pageant, to be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Farmington Fair Grounds. Preparation, rehearsals and interview competitions will take place during the day beginning at 1 p.m.

Girls who reside in Franklin County and are between the ages of 9 and 18 are welcome to compete for the titles of Miss Farmington Fair (age 14 to 18), Junior Miss Farmington Fair (age 9 to 13) and Miss Hospitality, for the one who is most active in participation in the fair itself.

Contestants will be judged in interview, talent and formal presentation.

Prizes will be awarded for each category in each age group as well as essay and runners-up prizes.

A snack and pizza will be provided to the girls during the day, courtesy of local businesses. Cash prizes will be awarded from the Franklin County Agricultural Society.
