LEWISTON – Dr. Brian McCann of St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center was recently board-certified in undersea and hyperbaric medicine. McCann, and his colleague at St. Mary’s Regional Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center, Dr. Robert Abrahamsen, are the only two local physicians to receive the certification, granted by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

McCann earned his undergraduate education from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his medical degree from New York Medical College. He holds a certification in emergency medicine.
