Farmington – Annie Moore, 74, a longtime resident of Boothby Road in Livermore, died Monday, Sept. 4, at Franklin Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of the Victorian Villa Nursing Home in Canton.
She was born on May 15, 1932, in Peru the daughter of Walter and Gladys (Pingree) Hodge and attended schools in Peru. On Nov. 26, 1949, she married Hartley Moore Sr. in South Livermore. He passed away on Aug. 24. She enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking for her family, raising a few hens and driving her car.
She is survived by a son, Hartley Moore Jr. of Lexington, Ky.; a daughter, Susan Losey and her husband, Jim, of Livermore; three grandchildren, Jamey, James and Justin Chaousis; five great-grandchildren, Tabitha Dunton, Luke, Alaura, Caitlin and Jarrett Chaousis; three sisters-in-law, Helen Nichols of Livermore Falls, Mary Fish of North Turner and Louise Moore of Livermore; a brother-in-law, Vinton Hutchins of North Turner; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Jarrett Chaousis; a sister, Marion Dupont; a brother, Walter Hodge Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Jean Hutchins and Lillian Ruby; and brothers-in-law, Everett Moore, Walter Fish and Franklin “Bud” Nichols.
