AUBURN – Ray Thibodeau, 73, of Lewiston, recently shot a hole-in-one at Pine Acres Golf Course at Roy’s on Route 4 in Auburn. He aced the #2 hole, 148-yards, using a 3-wood. Witnessing the feat were Don Doyon and Bob Morin.

Tourney is planned

LEWISTON – The Contractors Hockey League of Lewiston will be holding its fourth annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 16 at Turner Highlands Golf Course. Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 17 at 8 a.m. The tourney is open to hockey league players, friends and relatives. It’s a 4-person, best-ball format. Tee time is 8:30 a.m.
