AUBURN – The Council on Certification of Health, Environmental and Safety Technologists announces that Robert E. Fellner of Auburn has completed all requirements for certification as an occupational health and safety technologist.
The certification is awarded to individuals who meet experience and/or educational requirements and pass a four-hour examination. The examination covers basic and applied sciences, legal and regulatory matters, control concepts, investigation, survey and inspection techniques, data computation and record-keeping, education, training and instruction.
A certified occupational health and safety technologist provides support regarding the protection of workers, the public, property and the environment while functioning within specifically designed and managed programs aimed at compliance with safety principles and federal, state and local regulations.
