JAY – Richard and Cindy Johnson of South Strafford, Vt., are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Johnson, to Adam Spiotta, son of Mike and Fran Spiotta of Jay.

The future bride graduated from Thetford Academy in 2003 and is a senior at the University of Maine at Farmington, majoring in elementary education. She currently works part time at Early Discoveries Daycare in Farmington.

Mr. Spiotta graduated from Jay High School in 2002 and is a junior at the University of Maine at Farmington, majoring in geography. He is currently employed part time at Wausau Paper.

An August 2007 wedding is planned.
