RANGELEY – The Lakeside Dance Academy’s fall session will begin on Monday, Sept. 25, at the Congregational Church Barn, High Street. Pam Ellis, artistic director and instructor, will offer classes in ballet, tap and jazz for all ages and abilities. Still in the planning stages is a preschool dance class for age 3 through kindergarten.
The schedule will be sent home with students via the school. Classes will meet 10 times, weekly from Sept. 25 to Dec. 7, with make-ups during the week of Dec. 11. Registration will take place at the first class, meeting during the week of Sept. 25, at which time dancewear can be ordered. All are welcome to take a first class free.
The Rangeley Friends of the Arts is including all LDA dance classes in their grant program again this session. They have committed to fund every student enrolled to lower the cost to families.
All classes will reconvene in January for another 10-week session, culminating in the annual spring dance concert in April.
