The negative ads are in full-swing once again. It seems all Democrats do is smear and distort. Maybe it’s because they have no plan, or are unable to resolve problems facing our state. In fact, most of the problems we have in everyday life are directly linked to the Democratic control of the last 35-plus years.

Higher taxes, inferior education, unaccountability of “lost” millions by the Maine Department of Health and Human Servicesk, expensive college fees, skyrocketing health insurance, ridiculously high taxes on gas, oil and cigarettes, property taxes and recreational fees can all be attributed to the greed of elected Democrats.

They spend our money like water, raise taxes at their discretion and raise their wages without a thought for beleaguered taxpayers who have to support their callousness. That’s why the Taxpayer Bill of Rights is their No. 1 priority to defeat. They hate control. Especially in spending taxpayer money.

If voters keep on electing Democrats, it will only get worse.
