GREENWOOD – “Donkey Tuesday,” an election-year musical supper and silent auction, is happening on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Locke Mills Legion Hall, Gore Road, sponsored by the Oxford County Democrats.

The event, chaired by Jan Kubiac, will feature a variety of musical entertainment beginning with harp music by Conni St. Pierre, and post-supper selections featuring Donnie Katlin and others.

The supper menu will include lasagna and all the fixings. Tickets are $10 for adults; senior citizens and children under 12, $5. Tickets will be available at the door. The meal will be served starting at 5:45 p.m., with the hall opening for music and socializing at 5.

A silent auction will be held throughout the event, and there will be a 50-50 drawing. The event is open to all.

Oxford County Democratic candidates will be in attendance, including House candidates Tim Carter and Roy Gedat, sheriff candidate Wayne Gallant and County Treasurer Mary Ann Prue, as will Conservation Commissioner Patrick McGowan and officials from Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, including committee Chairman Sen. Bruce Bryant.
