LEWISTON – David C. Pierson, a director of the Lewiston and Portland law firm of Troubh Heisler, has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the construction law section of the soon-to-be-released 2007 version of “The Best Lawyers in America.”
Inclusion is a significant honor and mark of distinction within the profession. Less than 3 percent of practicing attorneys are included in the guide, which is organized by practice areas.
Pierson, a graduate of Bates College and the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research, is also a cum laude graduate of the University of Maine Law School, where he was a writing instructor and Law Review editor. After law school, he served as a law clerk for justices of the Maine Superior Court.
Pierson is immediate past president of the Auburn Business Development Corp. and serves on the board of the Lewiston Development Corporation, ABDC and the board of directors of the Good Shepherd Food-Bank.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Pierson owned and operated general contracting and construction management firms in the Androscoggin County area for more than 15 years. He serves as corporation counsel for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Maine and the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Maine.
Pierson lives with his family in Portland and Great Diamond Island.
