Leading Catholics criticize the Democratic Party because they say dominant forces within the party have a thoroughly secular vision for America. That means those leaders reject the traditional values of their faith.

As a matter of fact, Raymond Flynn, former mayor of Boston said: “Catholic politicians consistently vote and speak against traditional Christian Catholic teaching.” He adds that Catholic voters yet re-elect those leaders, who are Christians voting against their own precious church.

I plead with the media community – including the Sun Journal – to do more to exalt the traditional family and show support for Christianity. Recently, the Sun Journal presented a very negative article about Pope Benedict, both in his image and in the article. I am concerned the media, and the Sun Journal specifically, exalts the homosexual family.

I believe it to be a great disservice to young minds when the paper presents those images as normal. It can cause great gender confusion to youth. Corruption of their minds, I say.
