LIVERMORE FALLS – Reggie and Gert Richards of Livermore Falls celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party given by their children, Mark Richards of Livermore, Tammy Richards of Monmouth, Roland Richards of Lakeland, Fla., Michael Richards of Lewiston, Irene Lynch of Raleigh, N.C., Nicole Castonguay of Livermore and Heidi Davis of Freeport.

The reception was held at the AMVETS Hall in Jay, where family and friends enjoyed a luncheon, followed by an anniversary cake. Dancing music was also provided.

Mr. Richards and the former Gert Laplante were married on Feb.. 3, 1956, in Livermore Falls. Most of their years were spent in Livermore Falls, with some in Corinna.

They have 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
