KEENE, N.H. (AP) – A 12-year-old Keene girl reported a man tried to kidnap her.

Investigators say the youngster reported a man tried to lure her into a yellow car around 5:30 Monday evening. She reported that after talking to her, the man grabbed her wrist and tried to force her into the car.

Lt. Kenneth Meola said the girl reported she broke free and ran home.
