Connie Sessions assembles pies Tuesday at Valley View Orchard Gourmet Pies in Hebron. The company makes 200,000 pies of 20 varieties on site, and supplies them to locations around Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Valley View grows the apples at the orchard, and ships in the rest of the ingredients, owner Jim Kroitzsh said. The company’s ovens have the capacity to bake 250 pies an hour. “Today is a slow day,” one of the workers said. “We’re only making a couple thousand.”
