TURNER – Fall classes sponsored by SAD 52 River Valley Adult and Community Education are continuing.
A class on making a grapevine wreath will be held Thursday, Nov. 2. Middle Eastern Belly Dance classes will run for six weeks starting Nov. 6. Driver education sessions will also begin Nov. 6. Students must be age 15. There are 30 hours of classroom instruction and 10 hours of driving. A sewing machine repair workshop will be held Nov. 8.
“Young Scientists – Intro to Electronics” is a two-week class on Nov. 11 and 18 for ages 7 through 12 with adult participation. Students will learn the fundamental parts of electronic circuits, including resistors, capacitors and electromagnetic coils.
“Fudge Foundations 101″will be a one-night workshop on Nov. 27. During a class on “German Stars” on Nov. 30, participants will fold four pieces of paper into a three-dimensional star. Once made, the stars will be dipped into hot melted paraffin wax and sprinkled with glitter.
The annual day trip to Boston will be held on Dec. 2 on a 47-passenger bus. Register for the trip by Nov. 27.
