This November the voters of Auburn have an opportunity to elect John Jenkins as their mayor. Jenkins has a lifetime of experience that would make him an outstanding mayor. He is a professional motivational speaker, is in the real estate business, and teaches wellness and personal development.

I met Jenkins in 1993 when he was elected mayor of Lewiston. I had the fortunate experience of working with Jenkins for four years as a Lewiston City Councilor. His mayoral style was effective. He always believed that Together Each Action Matters (TEAM), and because of his leadership, many successes have occurred during the time Jenkins served as mayor. He is a strong advocate of cooperation between the Twin Cities, to realize savings for taxpayers.

John Jenkins would be a positive and knowledgeable leader for the citizens of Auburn.
