FARMINGTON – “Single young man looking for a person to share my life with. Ethnicity is not important, neither is age. But I am looking for someone to curl up with and who can admire me for all my beauty, inside and out, because my love to give is unconditional.”

That is the personal ad Franklin County Animal Shelter staff said Finland would want if he could talk.

Finland is a handsome black and white Maine Coon mix waiting for a home. He came to the shelter as a wee kitten and has grown up to be one exceptional feline.

Finland is about a year and a half old, so he is still young, but he is a laid-back kitty for his age. He would be a wonderful playmate to any children or feline/canine companion. Finland would like to say that he would be happy at a home where he can be admired for his beauty, inside and out.

New dogs at the shelter include a male black lab mix found in Jay, a male yellow lab mix found in Starks and a male yellow lab mix found in Livermore.
