GARDINER – Gardiner and Mountain Valley wound up with identical 7-0 records during the regular season in the Western Maine Seventh-Eighth-Grade Football League. They did not meet during the season. League President Doug Beck said a championship game has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28 at 12 noon at Hope Field in Gardiner.

Last week’s final regular season games: Auburn Recs 20, Lewiston Demons 12; Oxford Hills 20, Dirigo 12; Mt. Valley 50, Poland-Minot-Mechanic Falls 0; Mt. Blue by forfeit over Buckfield-Hartford-Sumner; Gardiner 20, AYS 12.
